Weekend workshop advises on water-wise landscaping

Those interested in learning about water-efficient landscaping are invited to a free workshop this Saturday, September 8, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Frontier Project, located at 1045 Ashford Street in Rancho Cucamonga. 

Hosted by the Chino Basin Water Conservation District, the weekend workshop will educate participants on what will be required to install a drought-tolerant landscape. A secondary free workshop on drought-tolerant plants will be hosted the following week at the Maloof Discovery Garden, 5131 Carnelian Street, Alta Loma.
