Claremont Idol chosen
Kudos to Raylon "RJ" Bivins for winning the city's annual All-American Claremont Idol. The Claremont High School junior stood out for his rendition of the National Anthem. Weren't there for the performance? As the contest's award winner, Raylon will perform his winning rendition at this year's Fourth of July fireworks show, to take place on Pomona College's Strehle Track. Fireworks tickets, which are $8 pre-sale and $10 at the door, go on sale June 1. For more information, visit www.claremont4th.org.
