More grant funding means more DUI checkpoints

The Claremont Police Department will host yet another DUI checkpoint on Monday, August 19, from 6 p.m. to 1 a.m. in an undisclosed location in the city. This is the third checkpoint the police department has held within the last 3 weeks courtesy of grant funding provided by the California Office of Traffic Safety. Don't drink and drive, wear your seat belts and have your driver's license at the ready.
