Claremont city
offices will be closed starting Wednesday, November 27 at 3 p.m. and will remain closed on Thursday, November 28 for the Thanksgiving holiday.
There will be no trash collection on that day and refuse collection will be
delayed one day for the remainder of the week.
In recognition of holiday guests, the
Claremont Police Department will not be enforcing the overnight parking
ordinance on November 29 following Thanksgiving Day. Overnight parking
will also be excused on December 25 and 26 as well as January 1 and 2. Residents
should note the exemption period is 2 a.m. to 6 a.m. on each of the given days.
