This is the 31st annual contest which aims to recognize recently completed building projects in Claremont that best exhibit the city's standards of design excellence. Award winners are selected by members of the Architectural Commission. Awards are presented in several categories including new construction, restoration, landscaping, signs, sustainable development, and more.
In order to be eligible, the project must be in Claremont and have been completed prior to December 31, 2011. Projects completed in years prior to 2011 are eligible as well. Projects involving only interior alterations will not be considered for an award.
Anyone may nominate a project. Nomination forms are available at Claremont City Hall, 207 HarvardAve., and online at www.ci.claremont.ca.us.
