The St. Patrick’s Day festivities are starting
early at the Pomona Fairplex with IrishFest, taking place this weekend, March
7-9.
IrishFest features family-friendly activities
with shopping, food, green beer, games and traditional entertainment including
Irish dancing and Celtic music. Kids can enjoy the medieval Kid’s Castle, which
includes a course at knight school, and make Irish crafts like Blarney Stones,
Celtic knot bookmarks and pots of gold. Learn to dance the Irish Stew and speak
a few Gaelic phrases.
The party continues Friday, March 7 and Saturday,
March 8 from 6 p.m. to midnight and
Sunday, March 9 from noon to 6 p.m.
Admission is $5; children ages 5 and younger are
