Today might
be dubbed Pi Day—March 14 or 3.14—but the real celebration in Claremont takes
place a day late. This Saturday Annika Corbin and the team from I Like Pie
Bakeshop gather the community together again for the second annual Pie
Festival, a delicious dedication to the crust-laden dessert. Guests will enjoy a Village
fair with themed booths, music, a pie eating contest, pie baking contest,
demos, apron parade and classes. A classic car display and pie recipe card hunt
contest will also be taking place. The event runs from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the
Claremont Depot, located on First Street between Yale Avenue and Harvard.
