After the long weekend comes the construction in Claremont. The city commences today on several maintenance projects, including the slurry of streets bordered by Foothill Boulevard, Mills Avenue, Miramar Avenue and the easterly city limit, according to city officials. The slurrying is expected to be finished by mid November.
The Boudreau Pipeline Corporation will also begin the installation of a new water main for the new Citrus Glen townhouse development at the southwest corner of Base Line and Monte Vista. It is expected to last for the rest of the week. Questions regarding these construction projects should be directed to the city at 399-5460.
