The LA County Fair begins its 91st year

The deep-fried Oreos and turkey legs are back. The 91st annual LA County Fair opens at the Pomona Fairplex today, unleashing a month worth of family-frendly activities and kooky cuisine.

Afraid to brave the humidity and heat? Fair folk are sweetening the deal by offering $1 admission from 3 to 6 p.m. on opening day today, August 30.
