Claremont street construction resumes

Residential Street Slurry
The street slurry project will resume next week, beginning Monday, January 7 and will continue through Wednesday, January 9, weather permitting. City staff is in the process of preparing a “punch list” of items that need to be completed by the contractor prior to the finalization of this project.

Indian Hill Boulevard Storm Drain
The contractor has begun the day-time work schedule for this project, with all work having previously been completed during the night-time hours. Construction this week has been focused on the installation of the storm drain lateral on San Jose Avenue, east of the Indian Hill Boulevard intersection. Beginning Monday, January 7, work will continue during the day-time with the installation of the storm drain on Indian Hill from San Jose Avenue, moving north towards Vista Drive.

Indian Hill Boulevard Resurfacing
The pavement grinding of Indian Hill Boulevard, between Foothill Boulevard and Base Line Road began on Wednesday, January 2. The street paving is scheduled for Friday, January 4 and Saturday, January 5, weather permitting. During the following week, beginning on Monday, January 7, the contractor will continue work on this project with the lane striping, traffic signal loop repairs and manhole adjustments.
