Claremont PD to conduct checkpoint tomorrow night

The Claremont Police Department will set up a sobriety checkpoint within the city of Claremont tomorrow, Saturday, April 20, from 7 p.m. to 2 a.m. Police have not disclosed the checkpoint’s location. Through the checkpoint, made possible by grant funding from the California Office of Traffic Safety, police will make sure drivers are not under the influence of alcohol or drugs, that they are in possession of a valid driver license and that seatbelts are being worn.
