Claremont seeks arborist to assist policy update

City officials are looking for qualified arborists to assist with the forthcoming tree policy update. Proposals are due by Wednesday, August 14, at 5 p.m.

The city’s tree policy lends a framework to the city’s tree program, which governs the maintenance, diversity, inventory, planting and removal of Claremont’s trees.   

Arborists will be needed to help guide city staff and provide insight for 3 public workshops soliciting public input on the policy update. For more information, contact Kristin Turner, community and human services manager, at 399-5433.
