Looks like the week will end in the same way it began for Claremont police, with another DUI checkpoint.
Police will roll out the cones for another checkpoint on Sunday, August 4 from 6 p.m. to 1 a.m. in an undisclosed location in the city. Through the checkpoint, made possible by grant funding from the California Office of Traffic Safety, police will make sure drivers are not under the influence of alcohol or drugs, that they are in possession of a valid driver license and that seatbelts are being worn. For more information, contact the police at 399-5411.
