Indian Hill overlay project
Hardy and Harper Construction Company is continuing work on Indian Hill Boulevard. Concrete work on the west side of Indian Hill Boulevard from Eighth Street to Harrison Avenue was postponed this week because of reports of rain. Instead, the contractor repaired irrigation lines and landscaping damaged during construction.
Work on concrete and asphalt removal and replacements along the west side of Indian Hill Boulevard will resume next week. Weather permitting, Indian Hill Boulevard is scheduled for completion on March 16.
Foothill Boulevard
Golden State Water Company is working on the installation of water utilities for the Pitzer College Student Housing Project. To control traffic during the construction, Foothill Boulevard has been reduced to one lane in each direction. Drivers should consider alternative routes or expect some delays. Lanes should reopen by tomorrow. In the coming
weeks, the contractor will be trenching across Foothill Boulevard as well as trenching along the west side of Claremont Boulevard, north of Ninth Street. The project should be completed by March 3.
