The Democratic Club of Claremont will hold its monthly luncheon at L.Y.L. Gardens restaurant at 921 W. Foothill Blvd. this Friday from 12 to 2 p.m.
This month's speaker will be Joe Tonan, President of the Claremont Faculty Association. He will discuss the nature and place of teacher evaluations in our schools. Mr. Tonan has been a teacher for 25 years and has experience in the development and use of teacher evaluations.
Cost of lunch is $10 and will be served from 12 to 2 p.m.; the presentation will take place 1 to 2 p.m. The Democratic Club of Claremont hosts luncheons the second Friday of each month.
